Quality Inn & Suites Galveston - Beachfront

Room was clean but the fridge didn't cool very well at all. The front desk lady she was great she went above and beyond to help me. Only issue was we didn't get any clean towels and we had to use out room towels at the pool......the pool was great it was heated perfectly that was the main reason we chose this hotel so the kiddo could swim on Christmas Day. The location is like perfect withing walking distance to so much ! We did not have the included breakfast as we had to walk next door Christmas morning there where 2 hotels having breakfast in same space with one lady working. They are working on renovations to improve the place. We will choose this hotel again next time we are in Galveston

We enjoyed our stay! Updated, Comfortable, clean, large rooms, with beautiful balcony views! Pool was heated perfectly! Breakfast was well beyond out expectations! Staff was super helpful and friendly! Only thing id suggest it adding a handle in the showers, cause our tube was slippery! We would definitely recommend this to anyone! What a great place at a great value! Ohhh and of course the free popcorn in the lobby daily was a nice evening snack!

My friend and I had stayed in Galveston Oct. 11th and 12th. Friday night we stayed at the Hyatt. Expensive with mediocre service. The second night we decided to try our luck somewhere else. The majority of the hotels we tried were booked, it was a Saturday. My luck changed when I walked into Quality Inn and Suites and met Mrs. LaLa behind the counter. She did not have anything ready immediately, but she promised she would. She said she would call me if the room were ready before 4pm. At felt uneasy about this. Because staying in Galveston without a home base is not something that makes me feel secure. Specially when every other hotel has nothing left. The Quality Inn was also over $100's cheaper than the Hyatt. My thinking is, a room that is available, at a cheaper rate? No way I am getting this blessed. Mrs. LaLa being as sweet and patient as she can be with me and my insecurities. I checked in a few times. Trying not to be annoying. I am sure I was though. Mrs. LaLa comforted me each time, assuring me I would get my room. Mrs. LaLa called me at 1:55pm. Not even 2 o'clock. She said,, Mr. Huddleston. Your room is ready, you can come check in. I went straight to the hotel. There, at the front desk, was a popcorn machine with fresh popped corn. A platter of cookies on the front desk. I helped myself to both. Mrs. LaLa checked me in and I went to my room. She also mentioned that breakfast would be served at 6am the next morning. Yes it was included. The Hyatt will get you breakfast. If you pay more. My room was clean and comfortable. With a great view of the Gulf. What really stood out to me, was the difference In customer service between the 2 hotels. Mrs. LaLa did everything she could too assist me. She did it with a smile on her face. Quality Inn & Suites will have my business from here on out. Mrs. LaLa being at the forefront of this decision. Then the cost. Then the room. Then the view. Then the breakfast. Allan

The hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff was helpful and friendly. The room was huge and very well kept. The reason for the 3 stars is the bed. I understand each of us had our preferences for sleeping, this is not about firmness or softness. I could feel the bedsprings in the bed. There was a mattress pad but it did not make up for the bedsprings. Overall great stay.

We were very pleased with the comfort, cleanliness, location, staff friendliness, and affordability. The door to our balcony was complicated to open, though it appeared as they are updating many aspects of the hotel. We found the free parking and indoor heated pool as additional perks, oh and breakfast was way better than other hotels we've visited recently. It was really neat to lay in bed and watch the waves from every window (ask for room 421 or 420).

I stayed here for one night during a weekday. Check in was super fast and the young lady who checked us in was super nice. Room and balcony semi-faced the water. Good enough view for my needs. Room/suite was spacious and clean except for the carpet. It left my socks and then my feet dirty. Needs to be vacuumed daily because it's a beach area and dirt gets tracked in or blown in. Hot breakfast was adequate but didn't start until 7:30 am, needs to be earlier for those of us that have things to do early in the morning. Hotel was in good shape. Parking is good. I have no trouble recommending this hotel to anyone. A good hotel at a very good price.

This was our second stay in 2 weeks and though we had one hiccup, the afternoon team on 10/18 and morning team on 10/19 including the GM were very helpful and addressed the minor issue quickly while remaining pleasant which is very rare in my experience. We first stayed in the king suite which was an experience, huge spa tub, very large room and balcony. The 2 queen bed room was also efficient, plenty of space, clean. It's affordable and doesn’t miss on amenities. The breakfast has something for everyone and was flavorful despite being free included breakfast. This is a great location for an affordable getaway whether you're a local traveler looking to for mini getaway or a traveler from afar.

We stayed here for a cheer competition. The location was perfect and the service was fantastic. Beds were decently comfy and the pillows were fluffy. They offer a full hot breakfast in the mornings as well and that was perfect for all the kids. Only complaint is that the rooms on the second floor where we stayed smelled so badly of mildew.
